Gregg L. Greer or also known as Amir Al-Hakim Shakur is a Public Speaker, Minister, American Journalist, Filmmaker, Record Producer, Author, Economist and Social Activist. Greer is the Founder of Freedom First International a international human rights NGO, Greer also is the Founder of Black America World News. As prominent national civil rights leader Greer is a Leader with the United Nations League of Nations Faith Assemblies Consortium. LON’FAC as well as a Global Citizen.
Greer has lectured on global diversity, establishing social and civic engagement, the history of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Human Rights, Aids (HIV) in communities, American Practical Government Leadership, social activism, youth in America, and the African-American Experience, among other topics. Greer has addressed conferences, universities and religious institutions across Urban America. Greer is a specialist in Criminal Justice, Restorative Justice, Organizational Leadership and Victim Advocacy. Greer has advocated for some of the biggest civil rights cases in America including the Tamir Rice Case, Alton Sterling, Semaj Crosby, and the George Stinney Jr. Case.

Greer is the founder of four non-profit organizations including The Guilty in Innocence Project, of which he is president. In 2010, he founded the Freedom First International (pic, above), a non-governmental organization (NGO) working for alternatives to racial hate and promoting world peace. He founded and working on The League of Nations, an international advocacy group for justice. In 2007, he founded Urban Christian Leadership Institute, a national NGO dedicated to “building and developing strong leadership-keeping the Dream of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. alive. Greer’s foray into entertainment and film production began in Los Angeles in 1991 when he founded Storm Entertainment Studios working with in Hollywood Recording studios then shortly afterward relocating with work with local Chicago Music acts. Greer Become a producer at Chicago Access Network Cable TV which lead to Greer’s newest venture- One World Transatlantic Global Media produces, distributes, and sells advertising for independent productions/distributor of first-run syndicated programming for broadcast television and cable globally. His company also made its first foray into scripted programming, co-producing and Writing-The Chicago Way 2017 a documentary film about Chicago Violence (below) which premiered at the Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert Film Festival to rave reviews.

Greer’s media career began when he started blogging in junior college which lead to journalism jobs and eventually left his job pursue activism and Journalism full time. As a Social and Criminal Justice Commentator and Investigative Journalist-Greer appears on Radio and TV around the country. Greer owns the Independent Radio and TV network One World Transatlantic Global Media, Which includes-The Owl 1886 Radio Station. The Chicago Way Documentary
Gregg L Greer and Tio Hardiman and a group of dedicated untouchables are Community Organizer leaders of their coalition, in addition, they are key leaders in the Chicago Social Justice Movement. Both individually and as a team-they are fed up with the rampant political corruption, police brutality and community violence.

The Book Truth, Justice and the American Way is a memoir collection written by Author Civil Rights Leader Gregg L Greer, The Book contains messages in the form of articles from oneworld01.com and a powerful plea to end ongoing conflict. Greer was schooled mostly in the Chicago, IL Area. He worked toward earning his B.A. in Criminal Justice from Governors State University and is currently pursuing a MDIV/PHD in from McCormick Theological Seminary and The University of Chicago. Greer is a Trained (Certified) Expert in Criminal Justice with additional training in communications, interview and non-confrontational interrogations. Greer Having spent time in US Army Signal Corps-Ft.Gordon, South Carolina.
